Microtech International S.A. has been operating since 1990. The company was established by research workers from Wroclaw University of Technology. Microtech company is present on the modern technology market in automation, electronics and informatics system domains for many years. The basic scope of the company business includes research and development, design, manufacture and implementation of innovative solutions in the above-mentioned areas of activity.

Efficiency and reliability of the company have been confirmed by successful accomplishment of numerous ambitious projects, the most often covering the whole project life cycle, starting from conceptual plan, through research, design, manufacture, delivery, on-site installation as well as guarantee service and long-term post-sale service.

Tasks accomplished by the company are related mainly to: design and realization of projects in the scope of complete automation and systems integration on industrial plants and in intelligent buildings, design and implementation of specialized electronic solutions in the areas of fast real-time digital signal processing as well as embedded controllers, design, implementation and integration of industrial informatics systems and audio-video systems. In 2006 Microtech International S.A. acquired Softechnik Sp. z o.o., the leader in the branch of heat engineering system automation in Poland. As a result of the acquisition the technology offer of the company was expanded into the following new areas: heat sources and heating boilers automation, modernization and automation of hydraulic systems as well as implementation of supervisory computer systems for heating plants.

The chief criteria the company workers focus on when completing the tasks include meeting customer.s expectations, high reliability and modernity of proposed solutions, minimizing lead time, maximizing the effectiveness with consideration to costs assumptions. Microtech International S.A. owns design and application laboratories equipped with professional measurement and control devices as well as state-of-the-art design and development tools. Over ten years of the company experience in using dynamically developed FPGA and DSP technologies places the company among the leaders of Polish modern technology market.

Microtech International S.A. employs over 40 people, most of them engineers working as designers. The company cooperates with scientists from Wroclaw University of Technology in R&D activities on a regular basis.

Ever since its foundation, the company has participated in numerous national and international undertakings of an innovative nature, accomplished under the patronage of the European Union and International Initiative Committee EUREKA!.

The company is a member and co-signatory of Lower Silesia Advanced Technologies Centre as well as Knowledge and Innovation Community in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies Cluster. In Poland Microtech International S.A. cooperates in R&D projects with R&D Marine Technology Centre (Gdansk), Technical University of Wroclaw, State Committee for Scientific Research (Warsaw) and Telecommunications Research Institute (Warsaw). Microtech International S.A. has successfully completed two international R&D projects in EUREKA! framework program (GLOBAL TRACEABILITY and CHAMELEON). Currently the company participates in five international R&D projects: in EUREKA! (as EMBEDDED FORTRESS project coordinator) as well as in Sixth Framework Programme (E-CAB project coordinated by AIRBUS Deutschland, MOET project coordinated by AIRBUS France, FastMatch project coordinated by University of Reading and MoveON project coordinated by Systema Technologies).
