From wide range of products, offered by HTS, on the first place we can put Dose Dispensing. It is a modern technological solution with automatic distribution of medicines in individual doses for patients. The implementation of a Dose Dispensing System is a quality breakthrough in medical care of patients.

The great advantage of the system is significant increase in treatment quality which produces desired results in raising the standard of individual patient care, decreasing mistakes in dispensing medicine, relieving nurses duties connected with .distributing. medicines which lets them spend this time on looking after the sick. Significant advantages include also clinical pharmacist participation in the process of treatment.

Dose Dispensing System also brings about appreciable advantages from the hospital managing point of view. Proper documentation, ordering protocols, and better preparation and storage of medicines bring with them savings and deliver indispensable information needed for making the right managerial decisions.

To achieve all above points we need relevant technology. The whole system is based on:

2. Full Automatic Tablet Dispensing Machine produced by Tosho Inc.
3. Medicine Detection Machine (MDM)
4. Well equipped trolleys to transport medicines
5. Supporting devices

The framework of this solution is IT system, designed by HTS Ltd. It connects the whole structure of the hospital (including hospitals pharmacies). Thanks to that doctors on wards are able to prepare prescriptions electronically. Next, a prescription is send to hospital pharmacy, where it is processed by pharmacist and also by special module which checks all possible interactions within ordered medicines. After positive verification the prescription is realized by machine, which packs medicine per dose in pouches with necessary patient and drug data printed on it. It allows patient to recognize at a glance which medicine to take.

Especially innovative is MDM solution which allows pharmacists to control prepared pouches using image processing and recognition. The process is automatic and efficient. The medicine detection machine checks each pouch in less than one second. Beside that, this system allows to generate complex reports meeting pharmacists needs.

Packing machine is extremely important part of the whole system. The level of reliability must be extremely high, because in treatment there is no space for any mistakes.
