About us

Neurosoft Ltd. company was established in November  1992. The main goal set by the company is creating software which facilitates people’s work with computers. The complex problems connected with artificial intelligence, such as speech analysis and speech synthesis, processing image, and processing natural language combined with unconventional techniques of data processing are going to result in solutions of new quality in the field of interface between a human being and a machine.  Intellectual experience and advanced technical thought constitute the most important capital of the company.

Technologies

Since the very beginning of Neurosoft existence we have been developing technologies in the IT area which are the basis for our products. We have designed artificial neuron nets that we use in all the technologies. That is where the name of our company comes from. The three most important areas of our research are:

• Speech analysis and speech synthesis (speech processing) – the research in the field of Text-To-Speech has been carried out for many years. Their direct effect  is a program for the synthesis of the Polish language- SynTalk. Moreover, new solutions connected with automatic speech recognition are being created.
• Digital image processing –modern technologies connected with writing recognition (Optical Character Recognition) and unique methods of electronic publication of documents (such as  BIP format, NeuroLib system) were created thanks to primary research that has been being carried out. 
• NLP – natural language processing – over ten year long research in this field aimed mainly at creating methods of grammatical analysis of texts written in Polish has resulted in creation of Neurosoft GRAM- a unique in the world scale commercial system for morph-syntax analysis of texts written in Polish.

Internet

Internet is for us principally an information carrier so we have specialised in building systems for its processing. On a mass scale we change hard available information ‘frozen’ in the form of paper into digital information that is subject of full search and is suitable for computer processing.  Thus, we impart valuable knowledge, that becomes a particle of electronic reality.
Products:

• Neurosoft BIP – a format of graphical document recording, prepared especially for publication of electronic versions of multiple-page documents via Internet. The format includes both graphical and text layers (full-text search taking into consideration the language specificity), DRM- an  in-built coding system, and a very quick compression.
• NeuroLib/NeuroPress is a system for presentation and safe distribution in Internet  of electronic versions of documents (books, magazines, legal acts, Polish Norms, patent documents and many others) in Neurosoft BIP format.
• NeuroTransformer is a framework for digitalisation of paper resources, that is for converting them from paper into electronic form. It consists of many applications serving various stages of the process, such as: preparation of the materials, scanning or photographing, processing files of scanning results, text recognition, structuralizing, generating of the final products of digitalisation.
• Neurosoft Gram is a system for morph-syntax analysis of texts written in Polish. The software can be used as a system element for indexing and searching any full-text data base in which there is a need for precise search for key words while considering both the inflection of Polish language and the variety of words that are thematically connected.
• NeuroScope is an Internet and Intranet system for full-text information search. It enables to look precisely for the required information. Thus, it is of great use for finding the information in large electronic resources owned or available by an organization. In contrast to most of the other solutions available on the market the advanced linguistic technologies applied in NeuroScope result in much better search outcome. The core of the NeuroScope is a morph-syntax analyser named Neurosoft Gram. 
• NeuroCar – a system for automatic recognition of number plates of vehicles in motion - on the basis of images taken from a digital camera. NeuroCar software is prepared to work in both stationary and mobile systems. NeuroCar Engine – the core of the system is the Neurosoft’s own software based on the technology of neuron network.
• Neurosoft SynTalk – is a software for generating synthetic speech that operates in Microsoft® Windows™ or Linux. Speech synthesis consists in changing the given text in the form of signs into the utterance in the form of sounds.
