Cinterion Wireless Modules Poland
Cinterion Wireless Modules was founded in June 2008 when Siemens sold its Wireless Modules business unit. The company specializes in wireless machine - to - machine communication (M2M) based on GSM technology, and is currently the global leader in wireless M2M module production. Cinterion has o broad portfolio of innovative GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and UMTS/HSDPA products designed for use in various fields, such as automotive sector and the e-toll system, metering, POS system, remote maintenance, tele-services, industrial PDAs, routers and gateways, security systems, tracking, the company offers a range of comprehensive services. Its M2M One business unit provides all-around 250 million Euros. It is headquartered in Munich, Germany. Cinterion Wireless Modules has its subsidiaries in USA, Germany, China and also in Poland where Wroclaw was chosen for the main head office. R&D Centers of the Company are located in Wroclaw and Berlin. Cinterion Wireless Modules Poland Sp z o.o. located in Wroclaw is managed by Krzysztof Kuliński and Małgorzata Rak who were so far the directors of the Siemens Development Center. Thanks to them numerous IT investments were located in Wroclaw over 1000 people found employment in this area. Cinterion Wireless Modules is going to expand its current leading position in the M2M market even further. The enterprise is consistently going to focus on new vertical and regional markets, on launching new technologies in the 3.5G and 4G arena, as well as on intensifying its solution business, known as M2M One.
